Registered Nurse

Part-time
5 days per fortnight
 
Serving the far North Coast NSW community since 1974, North Coast Radiology has prided itself on its reputation of quality care and service. We now seek to employ a suitably qualified and experienced registered nurse for our state-of-the art angiography and cardiovascular suite.
 
North Coast Radiology is independently owned, comprising of 8 locations, in both private practice and hospital settings.  All medical imaging modalities are represented including multi-slice CT, state of the art ultrasound, licensed MRI, comprehensive nuclear medicine, general and dental radiography, mammography, “Breastscreen” and bone densitometry.  A large interventional service is also offered, including an angiography suite and our newly opened cardiovascular centre.
 
The successful applicant will possess:

  • Current registration with the Nurses & Midwifery Board NSW
  • Recent clinical experience in either interventional radiology, cardiac catheter lab or day surgery
  • Excellent advanced life support skills
  • Commitment to excellence in nursing practice, including high standards of patient care and an understanding of infection control principles

A demonstrated ability to work as part of a team, to communicate effectively at all levels and to work with minimal supervision is also required.
