Relocation of Tenterfield Rooms

For over ten years North Coast Radiology has been providing ultrasound services to the community of Tenterfield and its surrounds.  Its presence in the town was initially a response to the local medical fraternity who were keen to establish a local imaging service when none was available.

The Tenterfield practice currently employs two locals - Anne Lake, clerical officer and John Derkley, sonographer.

From Tuesday, 5 April 2011 North Coast Radiology will be operating from new premises at 106A Molesworth Street, Tenterfield.

“Whilst undertaking this relocation we have also taken the opportunity to upgrade the ultrasound equipment used at the Tenterfield practice” said Barry Lennon, branch manager.  “This state-of-the-art equipment will provide the Sonographers and Radiologists with even more detailed, better defined images, and is part of our continual efforts to provide an effective and efficient service to our community ” he continued.

Bulk billing is available on most examinations.

North Coast Radiology has been operating in northern New South Wales since 1974 and provides a comprehensive diagnostic imaging service to the area.  Apart from Tenterfield, branches are also located at Casino, Lismore, Ballina and Byron Bay.

North Coast Radiology, as part of the North Coast Radiology Group, takes pride in being a privately owned and operated medical practice, with all eleven owners being Specialist Radiologists.  All but two partners live and work in Northern New South Wales.  Further, the Group employs approximately 150 staff across its twelve branches.
